About the only complaint was that it mostly wasnt worth going for headshots, as that usually just knocked helmets off, while body shots could 1-hit kill anyway. Both of which where incredibly powerful and statisfying to use. The gun play was incrediblly rewarding, and unlike FC6 I could finally enjoy playing Bow and Sniper. I just completed it, pretty much 100%, and I absolutely loved it. When it dropped to just £7~ and I finally bought it. So while I had it on my Steam wish list, it was never 'cheap enough' to punt on. I had always read bad reviews and opinions that it wasnt worth bothering with.
